The traditional basil sauce made in the Italian province of Liguria, the narrow coastal strip around Genoa. This pesto owes its authentic flavour to genuine Genovese basil, Parmesan cheese and extra virgin olive oil. This pesto is not pasteurised. This keeps it fresh green with a nice ˜freshly made' taste.
Pesto is delicious in all kinds of dishes. For example, through a simple pasta with freshly grated Parmesan, but also as a fragrant accent in (vegetable) soup or on toast or a sandwich.
