Christmas mug, stoneware, off-white, gingerbread man, Ø 9.5 cm

Extra large mug made of off-white stoneware with a gingerbread man and Christmas twigs. The handle is shaped like a red and white Christmas candy cane and there is another on the bottom. A nice mug for tea, hot chocolate, etc. Fun to combine with the matching (drip)dish with a candy cane. Stoneware is an extra strong type of earthenware. The pine twig motif is printed onto the crockery by hand, using a stamp. The stamped area is covered in wax and then a transparent glaze. During the stoneware’s firing process the wax melts away creating a subtle relief effect, making the pattern tangible. The motif is a Dille & Kamille original.
