Cosmea (Cosmos bipinnatus) is a beautiful plant for the higher border but also in large pots on your terrace. From July until well into autumn, you are assured of cheerful flowers in white and various shades of pink. Also nice: the unfilled flowers attract plenty of butterflies, bees and bumblebees. Cosmeas are very easy to grow from seed. Plant them out in a sunny spot. To ensure that the plant continues to bloom, regularly cut away the spent flowers with flower stalk and all. Or pick them for summer bouquets, Cosmeas are wonderful as cut flowers! Annual Approx. 75 seeds, for 2.5 m2 Made in the Netherlands Sow mid-March to mid-April under glass or mid-April to end of May outdoors in a seedbed. Plant out after 5/6 weeks. Regular picking/removal of spent flowers will ensure long continued flowering.
