These soft dolls are hand-made by the Bonikka family firm in Biyagam, Sri Lanka. They manufacture the dolls locally using natural and recycled materials. Family is really important to the company. To help orphans they support the orphanage near their factory. The Viharamahadevi Centre, a non-profit organisation, gives girls aged between 5 and 18 a home, food and clothing. Part of the proceeds of every doll sold goes to the girls at this orphanage.
