Sweet and spicy aniseed seeds can be used for baking, among other things – very tasty in biscuits and bread! – and to make aniseed milk. But the special aniseed taste also fits well in (sweet) pickling recipes and when making liqueur yourself. Use the seeds whole, slightly bruised or crushed in the mortar.
